Scholarships/Fellowship/Awards: Phi Upsilon Omicron, a National Honor Society in Family and Consumer Sciences, offers an extensive scholarship, fellowship and award program for members. Undergraduate Scholarships and Graduate Fellowships are awarded to members enrolled in family and consumer sciences or a related area. Selection is based on the applicants scholastic record, participation in Phi Upsilon Omicron and other collegiate activities, a statement of professional aims and goals, professional services and recommendations. Some scholarships and fellowship are awarded to members pursuing specific majors or career goals and may require additional documentation. Currently 39 scholarships and fellowships ranging from $500 to $4000 are awarded to members. In addition, seven awards ranging from $250 to $500 are awarded to members.
